The MBA members did an excellent job in supporting the Light Up Menston campaign at Christmas and we plan to continue that in 2021 to ensure our Village sparkles even more.

Our membership is still thriving and it is lovely to hear heart-warming success stories from our local businesses regarding how they have supported our community over the last year. Laboc Communications is one of those businesses

Victoria Speight says, “Throughout the pandemic, here at Laboc Communications we have continued to help support the local community, schools and charities. We have been overwhelmed by the huge generosity that we have seen from members of the community not only donating their old laptops but (where we didn’t have spare hardware we could utilise) these members of the public wanted to pay for the new hardware for their laptops. Bowled over by this generosity we therefore donated countless days of our professional time to upgrading these laptops free of charge for the local schools & community. In addition to this, we have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic deploying our hosted phone systems as well as IT Support to local business owners therefore enabling local businesses, entrepreneurs & employees to work seamlessly from their office or home environment during these difficult times.”

So many of our businesses have really stepped in to help the community and to support each other and we look forward to that continued support through 2021.
